Reviews and Ratings <br />
I had a mixed experience at Tally-Ho Inn. While the location is beautiful and the cottages offer a lovely view, the service has declined significantly, and the dining options are disappointing. I specifically chose this place for a wood-burning fireplace, but that wasn't available, and the communication from staff was lacking.
I was drawn to Tally-Ho Inn for its picturesque location by the lake and pet-friendly environment. While I truly enjoyed the natural beauty around me, the rooms left much to be desired, showing signs of aging and wear. The service, unfortunately, was quite lacking, especially with the breakfast offerings being stale and disappointing. Overall, it was a mixed experience, as I found the staff unresponsive when trying to resolve issues, which detracted from what could have been a fantastic stay.
I had a really disappointing experience at this resort. The room we booked was switched without notice, and it did not match our expectations for comfort or view. Despite the beautiful location by the lake, the service and cleanliness issues made it hard to enjoy the stay. While I appreciated the potential the resort has, the lack of attention to detail really overshadowed the positives.
I had a truly rejuvenating experience at Tally Ho Inn, a perfect spot for those seeking tranquility by the water. The cleanliness and comfort of the cabin exceeded my expectations, and the private beach added a lovely touch to the overall ambiance. However, while I appreciated the emphasis on safety measures, I did miss having a full kitchen in the cabin for meal prep, which could be a downside for larger groups. Overall, I felt it was worth the cost for a peaceful getaway.
Tally-Ho Inn is a unique spot by the lake with plenty of outdoor activities and family-friendly facilities. The free canoes and kayaks were a highlight during our stay, and the beautiful view of Peninsula Lake makes it a great choice for a getaway. However, the recent changes in the cottages, including the limitations on the fireplaces and the quality of the continental breakfast, were disappointing. The service could use improvement, especially during busier hours.
